Whilst MJN Legal specialises in all levels of legal recruitment, since our inception we have worked closely with a number of trainee solicitors guiding them through the Newly Qualified process. We often partner with the Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group offering NQ talks for their members.
When you are approaching qualification, this can be particularly daunting as many trainees do not find out if they are successful in securing a role at their current firm until roughly 3-6 months prior to their qualification date. Trainee Solicitors we speak to often feel in limbo and appreciate the impartial advice we give whether they are looking to leave their training firm or stay.
Whether you are interested in finding out more about the NQ process (both internally and externally), are keen to understand how the recruitment market looks, would like information on up-to-date NQ salaries, want back up options should you be unsuccessful with your first choice option internally or are actively looking to leave, we will listen to your situation and provide bespoke advice on the next steps for you and your career. We often encourage candidates to stay at their current firm and any advice provided is always with the candidate’s best interest at heart.
